I grew up in Southern California, raised in church but in Jr high school I began to party and lived an ungodly life using and abusing drugs and alcohol. I met the love of my life Evie in 1969 and we were married in June 1974.
We moved to Cottonwood Arizona in 1981 where I rededicated my life to the Lord at Calvary Chapel Verde Valley. Over the years we got very involved in various ministries there; Sunday school, youth groups, worship team, ladies and men’s ministries, harvest festival, greeters.
Eventually I was asked to intern as Jr High and Children’s pastor. A few years later I was asked to start up Calvary Chapel in Yarnell and Sedona.
As youth leaders we took teams on several outreaches overseas, and it was during our last trip in which we went to England and Scotland that the Lord told us to step out and go to Scotland to share the Gospel there. Then in September of 2000, the Lord had opened the doors and made a way for us to go and eventually start Calvary Community Church, Dunfermline. We ministered in Scotland tilling the soil and planting His Word, until the Lord told us to return home. In May 2018, the Lord brought us back after 18 years to the Verde Valley and Calvary Camp Verde to continue to share His love and grace.
Evie and I have now been married 45 years and have 3 children and 8 grandchildren and continue to be a work in progress
